The latest data refresh of the National Consultant Information Programme (NCIP) is now live.

The platform now contains data up to the end of March 2025, allowing you to review your own activity and outcomes for 487 clinical procedures in 12 surgical specialties. You can use NCIP’s consultant-level and provider-level data for governance meetings, clinical improvement, and as evidence for your appraisal. The release includes 89 enhanced dashboards, as well as 8 completely new dashboards in ENT, paediatrics and general surgery.

In response to user feedback, we have also reduced our small-number suppression from six to four. This means that any consultant with at least one dashboard with six or more episodes in a three-year period can now also view dashboards with four or more episodes of any procedure – allowing you to access data for more procedures, sooner. The platform also now includes updated date selection periods with descriptive text.
