Children and Young People (CYP) Portfolio

This page provides links to GIRFT specialties and projects within which strands of their work focus on services for Children and Young People (CYP).

Children and young people represent a third of our country and their wellbeing will determine our future. NHS England has established a Children and Young People Transformation Programme, bringing together key partners and programmes, including GIRFT, responsible for the delivery of the commitments in the Long Term plan.

The GIRFT programme has more than 40 workstreams reviewing clinical specialties and many of these findings will be relevant to children and young people too. 6 of these workstreams are specifically focused on CYP (see box below).

For further information or to contact workstreams within the portfolio please email Mandy Foster, GIRFT Head of Specialist implementation for CYP, at amandafoster1@nhs.net
