Mr Vinay Takwale

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Vinay Takwale is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust specialising in upper limb surgery.

He qualified as a doctor in 1988 from the University of Pune in India, then carried out his higher surgical training on the South Thames (West) rotation including St George’s Hospital in London and associated teaching hospitals, including specialist fellowships at Wrightington Hospital in Greater Manchester.

He is currently the chief of the division of surgery at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and was formerly president of the British Orthopaedic Directors Society (BODS).

Professor Adrian Williams is Professor of Neurology at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, and NHSE Chair of the Neurosciences CRG, the National Neurosciences Advisory Group and the West Midlands Senate.

Alison Davis

Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist

Alison is a Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Divisional Director for Moorfields South. The National Clinical Advisor for Ophthalmology, Alison has also been the Chair of the Specialised Ophthalmology Clinical Reference Group (CRG) for four years. She was recently been appointed as Chair of the new ENT and Ophthalmology CRG.

Alison previously served as Clinical Director for Outpatient and Diagnostic Services at Moorfields City Road, and prior to this, Paediatric Service Director for Moorfields.
