Dr Sridevi Kalidindi, GIRFT Clinical lead for mental health (rehabilitation) has had her appointment as an Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) announced in the New Year’s Honours list for services to rehabilitation psychiatry.

Dr Kalidindi said: “I feel very honoured to have been made a CBE and am grateful for the recognition it gives to my ongoing work both as a psychiatrist and as the GIRFT clinical lead.”

Dr Kalidindi joins several other GIRFT Clinical Leads who have been honoured in previous years, including Professor Tim Briggs CBE, GIRFT Chairman, Dr Clifford Mann OBE, Joint Clinical Lead for emergency medicine and Liz Jones OBE, Clinical Lead for hospital dentistry.
